Unlocking Texture Consistency in AI Architecture Generators: The Power of Using "Seed"

Imagine a world where you can transform your architectural sketches into stunning photorealistic renders with the click of a button. That's the power of ArchiVinci, our revolutionary AI-powered design tool. But when it comes to crafting the perfect render, sometimes you want to maintain a level of consistency throughout multiple iterations. This is especially true when you're finessing details, experimenting with slight variations, or showcasing a similar aesthetic across different angles. That's where the "seed" feature comes into play.

What is a "Seed" in AI Architecture Generators?

In the realm of AI architecture generators – especially when using tools like ArchiVinci, which leverage the power of stable diffusion models – a seed is a bit like a digital fingerprint. It's a unique numerical value that acts as a starting point for the AI's rendering process.

Think of the seed as a set of instructions telling the AI, "Start here, and creatively improvise from this initial state." While the resulting images won't always be perfectly identical, using the same seed value introduces an element of visual consistency. This means textures, subtle patterns, and even some object placements have a higher chance of appearing similar across multiple renders.

How to Use the Seed Feature in ArchiVinci

Using the seed feature in ArchiVinci is a breeze! Here's a simple guide:

  1. Generate Your Initial Renders: Start by generating your first architectural render as you normally would. Pay close attention to the various textures you love and would like to keep consistent in subsequent variations. If you feel you have found what you are looking for in terms of the quality, texture etc., follow the next step.

  2. Copy the Seed Value: Once the render is complete, you'll be able to access the seed value that was used. The exact location may change in future updates, but currently, you can find it right below the rendering you got on the "Generate" page (Also, on the individual page of your render which you can find under Profile > Dashboard). Click on the button with the label e.g. Copy seed: 345978923

  3. Enable Seed Feature: Enable entering seeds by checking the Enter seed number checkbox. Paste the value you copied in the previous step to the inputbox.

  4. Start a New Render: When you're ready to create a new variation or refine the design, simply input the recorded seed value into the appropriate field before generating your new render.

Tips and Tricks for Using Seeds

  • Experiment for Control:  The degree to which a seed influences the consistency between renders can vary. Experiment with different subjects and styles to get a feel for how it works in various scenarios.

  • It's Not a Magic Bullet: Seeds won't guarantee 100% identical images every time. The AI still has room for creative improvisation, especially when other parameters like text prompts or image uploads change.

thanks for explaining seeds...but I also wonder about how to request the color I want to keep... but I'm liking this program. Thank you very much 😁

Hi im thinking of purchasing this software. I have a few concerns.

Is there a way to place the exact color to a rendering? or this program only generates whatever it thinks it would look good.?
